[Maruni Sagarifuji]: In the Taika Reforms (645), NAKATOMI no Kamatari, who was a supporter of Emperor Tenchi, was given the surname of Fujiwara as a reward. The representative crest is 'Fuji,' which came to be used after the end of the Heian period. It is a misunderstanding that Fujimaru-mon is regarded as the family crest of the Fujiwara clan, because it is a common belief ("Nihon Monshogaku") / Fujimon is considered to be the representative crest of the Fujiwara clan, but only seven families (written by TAKAZAWA, etc., "The Origin of Kamon") use Fujimon out of 97 kuge families connected to the Fujiwara clan
