This design coordinates with my other Galveston Mardi Gras designs related to the arch which spans over Mechanic Street in the historic downtown area of Galveston, Texas.
The arch was commissioned by Galvestonian George Mitchell and created for the City's 1986 Mardi Gras celebration. It is an iconic Galveston landmark.
