This image was drawn following the Women's March on Washington in January 2017. I was inspired by the variety of people who participated and by the spirit of support and hope surrounding the event. Many of the faces in the crowd, such as the rangers, the doctors, the lab group, and the astronaut, were early-emerging leaders in the Resistance and went on to organise the March for Science in April 2017. This image celebrates the diversity of the political movement and the strength of the American people.
