The young man lies elegantly on the ground in his dark blue matador costume with his sword at his side and his flag in hand. The white socks, sash and interior vest draw a striking contrast with the young man’s dark costume. One of the most famous matador paintings of all time, Dead Matador makes a great gift for fans of Manet, realism, bullfighting, and French art.
