Malcesine with Castello Scaligero Bumper Sticker

Malcesine is often referred to as the Pearl on Lake Garda. A lot of history took place in this small town, on the east shore of Lake Garda in Italy. The buildings tell you a lot, so it is definitely worth a visit, if you manage to get there through all the sometimes totally jammed traffic. Once there you can also take the funicular to the village of Tratto Spino on Monte Baldo in 1760m. Our painting features the Castello Scaligeri on top of the castle rock, surrounded by the houses of the town - and the turquoise Lake Garda. The old town has many narrow, crooked alleys, with many small shops, and restaurants. Goethe was also there, and even shortly arrested, as he was painting the castello, under the suspicion of espionage. But now, sit back, and imagine yourself relaxing on the sun deck of a small vessel, on course to Malcesine.
