Mah Tovu Ohalecha Yaakov... These are the words we say as we enter into the House of Prayer, beginning with verse 24:5 from the book of Numbers: "How goodly are your tents Yaakov," in my own Hebrew calligraphy and cut paper. The background is in coloured pencil. This is a high resolution scan of a piece I made this in 2002.

I like the design, the fact that the dimensions could be altered, and it came extremely well-packaged. It will serve well to decorate a non-synagogue room that is being used for Jewish prayer. The colors turned out as expected.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
