Lucky Mah Jongg gifts combine a Mah Jongg one dot with several lucky symbols. The hamsa is an ancient Middle Eastern amulet symbolising the Hand and Eye of God. In Ireland, the shamrock is sacred because its leaves form a mystical triad. For the Chinese, the number 8 is considered lucky because bā sounds similar to the word for wealth fā.
