    Mackerel espresso cup in yellow My etchings (or the ones that work) have a design quality to them which lends itself well to reproduction on everyday items. My fat little mackerel look lovely on these cute espresso cups. The original etching has what's known as an "aquatint" background - that's to say it has a tonal background which looks great when printed on paper. What I did here was to photoshop out that tonal background so the fish themselves can zing out on a range of different colored backgrounds. These cups look great mixed in with all your other cups and mugs, but they also look amazing together as a collection.

    I am the artist who created this image. I have not ordered an espresso cup before. I have ordered other zazzle mugs before and we use them constantly at home. I love these small cups, I will be giving them as presents to everyone from now on. The product arrived in the UK 7 days from ordering, impressive. I ordered these cups from StrangeStore for an exhibition of my artwork and the zazzle have attracted so much attention. As a long term professional illustrator and designer I have very exacting standards, so I was very interested to see how this design would print. It is simply brilliant. The printing is awesome! I have worked with top pottery companies in the UK and this printing is really very good indeed. I have no hesitation displaying this product right next to the original artwork, it's that good.
