Product featuring a high quality rendering of the MacDonald Clan tartan. Historical notes below. Notes from the Scottish Tartans Society: This is oldest recorded version of the Clan sett. It varies slightly from those recorded by Logan, Smibert, Grant etc, but the motif is the same throughout. Of the nine independent branches of the Clan Donald, there are at least 27 different setts. It was not until 1947 that the MacDonalds again had a high chief, MacDhomnuill, who by tradition has the final word on the tartans of the clan. That right was granted to Alexander MacDonald of MacDonald whose son Godfrey is now the 8th Chief. Green lightened to show sett. This tartan is worn by 1st Battalion, The Nova Scotia Highlanders (North): a Canadian Reserve Regiment.

This product was fantastic can put much better than I was anticipating, I was expecting flyer paper but it came on the wonderful glossy front Matt back thick card paper, I am so happy with it. It’s small enough to fit into my wedding invitation envelopes and not crush anything either, but apart from my own spelling mistake I missed with doesn’t matter, it’s perfect. The print was excellent perfect and glossy no smudges in either side of the print, I am over the moon on how it turned out.

Great quality. Although I think I should have ordered them the next size up. It was a bit swishy putting all the details for a wedding on this size. Printing quality was lovely and a nice design. Paper was shiny and paper was a nice thickness.
