Luther Rose Stained Glass Round Wall Clock

The Luther Rose's symbolism dates back to the 1520s. Luther explained that the red heart with the black cross represents the righteous living by faith in Christ the Crucified. The heart rests on a white rose, symbolising joy, comfort, and peace found through faith. The choice of white reflects the colour of heavenly spirits and angels. The white rose is set against a blue field, representing heaven, to signify that earthly joy and faith are just the beginning of eternal heavenly joy. Surrounding the blue field is a gold ring, symbolising the endless and precious happiness of heaven.
