Loss of Child Card

Designed for a friend who recently lost her son. The pictures are from a photo study of a statue in my sister's garden. The isolated female statue reminds me of the intense loneliness and isolation a parent feels when a child dies. The disappearance of the roses is symbolic of the loss as well. In such a terrible crisis, it truly is the steadfast presence of close friends that helps the healing begin.
