Little Red Riding Hood Meets Old Father Wolf Card
This design features an illustration from the classic children's fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood". The two best known versions of the fairy tale were written by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm. This classic illustration was drawn by the famous French artist Gustave Doré (1832–1883), who illustrated many books for both adults and children. In this scene, Alice and the wolf are facing in opposite directions, but she is staring directly in the wolf's eyes, unafraid of the wild animal. She is a courageous and confident girl. Alice is wearing a traditional long dress. The wolf's long tail and long legs can be seen clearly, and the creature's ears are pricked up.
