Little House in Big Woods Snowy Original Art Blue Card

Laura Ingalls Wilder, in her book "Little House in the Big Woods" recalls winter in her pioneer childhood. One line I love reads, "The time for firelight and music had come again." I created this image in shades of deep blue to bring across the feeling of that time of year. Here in Buffalo, N.Y., I know snow! The quote appears in brush calligraphy in the sky, white against the blue. Beneath it, in light blue lettering, is "Laura Ingalls Wilder, 'Little House in the Big Woods.'"
