A vintage children's book illustration by Honour C. Appleton called "Dolly's Wedding" which depicts a little girl playing with her dolls outdoors in a garden. She is pretending that two of the dolls are bridge and groom as she drops flower petals over them for their wedding. Honour C. Appleton (1879-1951) was an English illustrator and artist who illustrated over 150 books in her career, beginning with children’s books and moving to literary classics.
