I set up my Fuji S2 Pro on a tripod along the shore, set the shutter speed to 30 seconds, left the aperature wide open and aimed the camera across the river where I saw lightening bolts hitting the ground. This kind of photo is quite a challenge. You never know where the lightening will hit and it happens in a matter of split-seconds . The time was 9.30 pm August 26, 2003. Jimmy Sam - Cree Photographer

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
