Laurel High School Spirit Memories Mug

I used the illustrations from my upcoming book, “The Kid From 5th Street Creek” for this mug design. The book is a collection of memories from when I grew up in my hometown of Laurel, Maryland and I treasure every moment. Laurel High School had lots of school spirit and great classmates (and upper classmates) where many of my life long friendships began. I played for the Laurel Spartans football team and lettered in 1971. That summer, my family moved to England. After just 5 months I was able to come back home in time to graduate in June with my class in 1972.

The printing quality and colors are gorgeous; I've received compliments from clients on it. They provide tons of editing options, which I didn't realize and when I did, the mug turned out exactly as I'd wanted! The color picker on Zazzle is fairly comprehensive and in-depth, and due to computer monitor differences, it's hard to know exactly what color will appear on the product. But I was thrilled with everything--the edges of the words are crisp, no bleeding, the font selection is huge, and the editing process allows for lots of variation.
