Larkspur Pattern (by William Morris) Skateboard

This design is based on a wallpaper pattern created by British designer William Morris (1834–1896), who is especially well known and respected for his association with the Arts and Crafts Movement. Larkspur is one of William Morris' most popular and reproduced designs. Among gardeners, larkspur is a common name for various species of the Delphinium genus of flowering plant. Several versions of this design have also been shown in major art galleries and museums, such as the V&A in London and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. It shows winding green leaves interspersed with delicate purple flowers, producing a truly elegant effect. The original Larkspur design was created by William Morris in 1874.
