The stately stone Lamar County Courthouse, Paris, Texas, stands amidst vibrant green trees under a clear blue sky.
The Lamar County Courthouse was built in 1917 to replace the original 1896 courthouse, which was damaged by fire in 1916. The records vault, which pre-dates the 1896 courthouse by seven years, survived the fire and was incorporated into an annexe for the 1917 courthouse. The architecture is a fusion of Classical Revival with heavy Romanesque details, arches, and columns.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
