[Ku] Star crest (Kuyo-mon) Kuyo is a star used for bokusen in ancient India, and refers to Rago, Saturday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday, Ketsu, Monday and Thursday. With Buddha, Rago was Fudo Myoo, Saturday was Sho Kannon, Wednesday was Miroku, Friday was Amida, Sunday was Senju Kannon, Tuesday was Kokuzo, Ketsuto was Shaka, Monday was Seishi, and Thursday was Yakushi. I bought this as a little extra gift for my friend for her suprise bridal shower as we were doing a clay making class so it was to protect her outfit! But it’s so beautiful she is also going to keep it for her kitchen (she loves baking).
