An image of the bark of the Paper Birch tree (Betula papyrifera). Inuktitut text reading "ᑯᕕᐊᓇᒃ ᐃᓄᕕᐊ" (Kuvianak Innovia - Merry Christmas), in the syllabic alphabet adopted in Nunavut also appears. Add your own additional text. The Inuit are commonly referred to as Eskimo, but that term is now disfavored as it is considered to be pejorative.
