"Om Ha Ha Ha Vismaye Svaha" is a powerful mantra of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (Jizo Bosatsu, Dizang Wang Pusa), a Buddhist patron deity of children, animals, pregnant women and all sentient beings needing special help. This Sanskrit mantra, here written in ancient Devanagari script and in Latin, is used in esoteric Buddhist rituals in Japan. Ksitigarbha is not a God, he is a Bodhisattva - a being who is on the path toward becoming a Buddha, the Enlightened One.
