Ricardo Gomez has created this piece of art in tribute to Kemah, Texas as it was in the 1970s. The original piece is acrylic on canvas, 36" x 36".
Kemah is very different now! There is a large over pass and the beloved drawbridge is gone. For those of us who remember it as it was in the 1970s, the memories are so much fun! If you have never been there, enjoy this scene! The marinas surrounding the area were the largest in the country at that time period. Not sure if that is true now, but the boat life is still immense!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
