Popular meateater myth is that you can't get enough protein eating plants, the diet of humans. Far from truth. There are 14,000,000 Vegans in the USA, think about it, if they weren't getting enough protein eating a Whole Food Plant low fat high carb diet, the emergency rooms would be FULL !!! lol, If you ate your daily 2,000 calories in lettuce, ONLY lettuce, you would get 80 grams of protein. I wouldn't suggest doing so because you would miss other nutrients, but you would not be low in Protein! Protein is only one in many many nutrients that we need to thrive. It is designed to be in all foods, so that if we ate an adequate amount of calories in a day than you would never lack protein. BUT what you should concern yourself MORE with is things that you CAN lack, like Fibre. A lack of fibre in the diet is very unnatural and leads to a higher risk of many diseases.
