Katherine Parr was the sixth and final wife of King Henry VIII of England. Like Henry's fourth wife, Anne of Cleves, Katherine managed to survive her husband, but only just! Henry appears to have considering arresting her on charges of treason before his death. Sadly she didn't outlive him long. She married Thomas Seymour, brother to Henry's third wife Jane. She died shortly after giving birth to her and Thomas' first child, a daughter named Mary, just 18 months after Henry's death.
