This poster has my remade vintage image of two little girls in VIctorian style clothing sitting in an apple tree. The original image is by Kate Greenaway and is a story book illustration.
I recolored the original image, keeping the color as close as possible to the original, just brightening and smoothing the edges. I added more apples to the tree and added some on the ground. I changed the flowers to a different flower, copying some of the original colors for consistency. I added the blue sky with white clouds and the basket on the ground.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
