Jill's Paperie officially began in 2010, but its story goes back almost 30 years ago, when as a small child, I went to work five days a week with my mom at the shop where she sold fabric. As a young "artist", with an entrepreneurial spirit, I spent hours creating crayon drawings for the customers who came in to the store to buy cloth. The beautiful colors and patterns of the fabric that surrounded me were some of my earliest influences as an artist.
Even though the way my art is created and sold has changed drastically since those early days at the cloth shop, I continue to gain inspiration from my surroundings, which is reflected in the eclectic variety of designs offered. Whether you're shopping for wedding invitations, or just a new addition to your collection of kitchen magnets, each design has a story and was created with the same enthusiasm as those crayon drawings were years ago!
