On Purim, we jest and joke around. But it's also a time for realising that we sometimes live in an upside-down world. The fate of the Jewish nation dramatically seesaws throughout the Purim megillah, finally improving for good. This Joker-themed Purim card plays with this idea, showing a joker playing with fortune. The joker card is a "wild card" that can bring a high or low to a game. This joker-turned-Purim jester is a nod to the Italian carnival origins of Purim traditions and the custom of Purim players who livened up the holiday by visiting homes and performing for families. It represents our wishes for only the best fortunes in life and art.
