Japanese / Chinese "Fire" Magnet

This Japanese / Chinese character means "Fire," as shown by the blaze behind the character. In Japanese, it can have many readings, but when alone it is pronounced "hi" like the English word "he." The H sound is actually slightly different from the English "h" in that, rather than a glottal fricative, it's actually an unvoiced palatal fricative. In Chinese, this character is pronounced huǒ, in third tone. The meaning remains the same, although like between any two languages that share a script, there are many differences in use.
