In Japan, the cherry tree is seen as a symbol of the ephemeral nature of life, because it blooms only for one or two weeks every year. This idea is influenced by Buddhist teachings on impermanence.
The flowers are a beautiful shade of pink and are exceptionally beautiful. The trees also produce small, bitter fruits or tasty cherries.

I cant speak for how it holds up as a fully assembled skateboard. But I've had quite a few decks in my life and this seems solid. I'm using it fro a Twin Peaks art project. So far, it has been perfect! very smallJust a few whit marks in the black parts, Nothing serious. Very small defects.
