Japanese anchor and waves address label

These two traditional Japanese mon or emblems represent power and strength, and their navy blue colour and repetitive pattern combine to create a masculine design. The pattern of blue waves (seigaiha) was used on Chinese maps to depict the sea and was made popular in Japan by artist Seikai Kanshichi.
