This dog breed used to be called the Jack Russell Terrier until the National Club Breed changed it in April 2003. The Jack Russell Terrier originated in England and is part of the AKC Terrier Group. They are friendly, clever, bold and athletic. They make playful, energetic and charming companions. Some famous Jack Russell Terriers include "Wishbone" from the kids TV show, "Milo" from the movie The Mask and "Eddie" belonging to Martin Crane on the TV Show Frasier.
