It's smaller than I expected but that doesn't mean that's a bad thing. It's 1 1/4 inch and it's my bad that I didn't look at measurements. But after the split second of expecting larger, we instantly realized that this size is much better than the larger size pins. It still makes a statement and gets noticed, but doesn't "shout" at other people. I love the "medical" look to it, well designed, great colors, and "goes with everything". Printing is excellent. Colors vivid, alinement perfect.
