Italian Beware of The Black Sabo Cat Art Doormat

A door mat for cat owners, trade union members and supporters of workers' rights who have Italian connections. The design is an illustration of an angry black and white cat with arched back inside a roughly drawn oval. Above the hissing feline is the Italian phrase Attenti al gatto, Beware of the cat, in white lettering. Based on the black sabo cat mascot of the Industrial Workers of the World, the drawing is believed to be the work of IWW member Ralph Chaplin who wrote the 'Solidarity Forever' labour anthem in the early 1900s.
