Islamic Tile

I have traveled around parts of the Middle East over the last few years; this is a beautiful tile that I photographed outside a stunning mosque in Iran. These tiles are eye popping and exquisite - they would look good in a kitchen, bathroom, or simply as decoration anywhere around the house. The Middle East boasts some of the most beautiful places of worship - made up of mosques and minarets (which are the tall towers often attached to or near a mosque, where the call for prayer is announced). These pretty tiles can be found all over the buildings, making them stand out with bright colors and pretty patterns.
