Iris

Iris - Fantasy theme line illustration. This pen and ink, tempera and graphic pattern film rendering originally came to life as a self promotion flyer (circa 1974). It was also self-published as part of my 1977 “Portfolio” series. This is a high resolution scan of one of the 1974 prints. Iris is a messenger of the gods, regarded as the goddess of the rainbow (a tough subject for line art) . . . The inside panels are left blank for the writer to express themselves personally. . . This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
