Invoking Hecate; Notecard

A notecard featuring the piece "Invoking Hecate" from the Goddess Within collection on the front, and the following story about the Goddess on the back: "Hecate, Queen of the Witches, Goddess of Change, and a woman to be reckoned with. She has gone through many transformations over the years: from the Egyptian Goddess of Childbirth to the powerful Greek Goddess of Hidden Wisdom & Change, and on to the Roman Goddess Trivia. She was later demonised by the early Christians into the stereotypical cackling hag, replete with warts and broom. True, Hecate rules darkness, but she also rules over change, both good and evil, and is the writer of her own destiny. She has considerable power over nature, which is why she is Queen of the Witches, and often invoked (usually in triplicate form) in any ritual involving the earth, future, or change."
