I'm thrilled to share my latest artwork, "Into the Mystic," a 4x6 inch oil painting that invites viewers to journey into a dynamic cosmic scene. This piece explores the nebulous beauty of galaxies with swirling blues and blacks, accented by splashes of vibrant white, yellow, and red to represent celestial bodies. The textured layers and splattered white suggest stars in motion, creating an expansive and lively universe. What made this creation process unique for me was the use of my fingers for blending the background, combined with knife and brush for the final details. I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
