The seven circles symbolise the seven continents of Earth (i.e. Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North America and South America); the rings also form a flower pattern, which symbolises the importance of life on Earth. The background is blue to represent the oceans on our "Blue Planet".
