Inn of the Beginning Tee

Before Cotati’s downtown turned quiet, the Inn of the Beginning was where the floorboards shook and the nights stretched long. A legendary stop for bands since the ’70s, by the late ’90s it became a swing-dance haven—none more memorable than nights spent twirling and sweating to Lee Press-On and the Nails. Sticky floors, brass blasting, a packed crowd moving like the room might collapse under the weight of it all. This shirt honours that mix of small-town dive grit and big-band swagger, a reminder of when Cotati felt like the centre of the universe—at least for a song or two.
