Photographic image of cloisonne initial. The original was created by carefully bending flat silver wire, fusing it to enameled copper then filing in the areas within the silver boundaries with ground coloured glass and firing each layer at 1350 degrees fahrenheit. The letter A is opalescent white with subtle tan variations. The background is transparent green with copper showing through...giving it the look of a green apple.
