In Honour of Hillary Jigsaw Puzzle
I made this painting in honour of Hillary Clinton. She is painted holding a tree for life and education (hidden human rights and women's rights logos inside), she is also holding scales like the lady of justice balancing an eagle and a dove. Hillary is standing in front of a sun rise for new beginnings and she is shaking hands with the world. I added the american dream/family on top of the world and the clinton foundation logo below - the family has done a lot of great things for the people of the world. She is wearing the crown of the Statue of Liberty and there's an american flag in the corner. Hillary is also depicted as Athena with the owl on her shoulder, symbolising wisdom and intelligence. I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
