IN GOD WE TRUST - 2 Chronicles 7:14 Classic Round Sticker

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” This scripture, and an order issued July 9, 1776 by Gen. George Washington to his troops: "The General hopes and trusts that every officer and man, will endeavour so to live, and act, as becomes a Christian Soldier defending the dearest Rights and Liberties of his country" inspired my creation of this design. There are two different versions of this design.. one includes Gen. Washington’s order to his troops, the second does not. It is essential for all Christians to reiterate “In God We Trust” and protect America's religious heritage. American history demonstrates repeatedly that our nation was founded on Christian principles and its founding fathers acknowledged that fact on Washington D.C. buildings, in official documents, and historical speeches. Less than a hundred years after its Declaration of Independence, In God We Trust was proclaimed on its coins. As long as this country trusts in God, it will prevail.. I believe President Ronald Reagan’s August 23, 1984 quote says it well: "If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under".
