Immaculate Concept Design

This is an original "Paradise Theme Art Piece" and "Immaculate Concept Design" created by Donald Thornton, aka "The Art Angel Don". Mr. Thornton has a wide range of creative styles and artistic influences with a preference for "Dali-like Surrealism" with a more modern preamlike Peter Max-like Pop Art" twist. Mr. Thornton is a student of Theology and the Wisdom Teachings in terms of his spiritual background. As a result, he uses a lot of very optomistic positive recognisable symbolism in his works with a very intense focus on Universal Peace, Love & Unity. Mr. Thornton studied graphic arts and photography in High School at Akron Central-Hower in Akron, Ohio and was offered a full scholarship to the Pittsburgh Institute of Art his Senior year of High School back in 1973. As an All-City Basketball player at Central-Hower he accepted a full scholarship to play basketball at Fairmont State College where he became a College Fine Arts Major and took "Best of Show" at an "All Campus Art Show" against Senior Artists and Grad Students his Freshman year. Currently "The Art Angel Don" is the Senior Art Director, a Marketing Director and Primary Webmaster for the "Jackson Family Foundation".
