Illustrated Tulip Tree Leaf Tie

This design features an attractive illustration of the leaf of a tulip tree (also known as a liriodendron), which are large trees, deciduous over most of their populations, in the magnolia family. These trees are widely known by the common name "tulip tree" or "tuliptree", because of their large flowers superficially resembling tulips. They are sometimes referred to as "tulip poplars" or "yellow poplars", and the wood simply as "poplar", although not closely related to the true poplars. The trees are native to both North America and East Asia.
