Ichiryusai Hiroshige Coaster

An ogi-e fan print showing a camellia flower and a magnolia bud and flower. This appears to be the only surviving example of this design having been rescued from an actual fan. Published by Maruya Seijiro, 1852. Hiroshige only designed a few ogi-e format fans, most being in the round uchiwa-e style.

Beautiful horse drawing on this coaster makes it a great conversation piece. Artist is very talented! The printing Zazzle did is nice and crisp, but not as black as I would have liked and the edges had some execess on them But some sandpaper fixed the issue
