The main focus of this collage is a children's book illustration of a young country girl, standing next to a bull cow and a sign which reads "To the City". Behind her is a cut out of a floral arrangement in bold reds, yellow and orange. A random tent sits perched obscurely in the bushy floral bouquet. Along the top is text that reads "I wish I could change". The artist was implying both hope and fear in this masterpiece. Hoping that leaving the country life for the diversity of the city would help her change. Yet fearing she may end up living on a sidewalk in a tent if she doesn't "make it". What is your interpretation?
