I Vampiri: Notte a Cavalla ART PRINT Vampire Horse
The fourth in my series of paintings called "I Vampiri " (which is Italian for The Vampires) - a new line of paintings that feature vampire beauties inspired by Italian Baroque & Italian Renaissance themes and aesthetics (many of which I have been hired to create for my upcoming Vampire Tarot/Oracle Deck). This fourth painting is called "I Vampiri: Notte a Cavalla" (which words literally translate into means "Night Mare" in Italian - pun intended!) and I really enjoyed painting this one! I love horses and thought I'd incorporate one into a vampire painting, so I had to think about what sort of horse a vampiress would ride. This mysterious white/silvery beast seems to glow from within - rather unearthly! Her hooves appear to glow red as well. You can see a little horse skull in the corner of the piece, just for good measure. The Vampire herself is quite lovely, with a jewelled outfit that looks difficult to ride in. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
