I Left My Heart in Tokyo World's Tallest Tower T-Shirt

The Tokyo Sky Tree is the tallest broadcasting tower in the world at 634.0 metres (2,080 ft). Designed to be both futuristic and traditional, it has become the newest symbol of Japan's capital. I took this photo on April 2012, just a month before the tower opened to the public. It was the tower's first spring, so to speak, and it was such a lovely sight from Sumida Park across the river, where the sakura (cherry blossoms) were in full bloom.
