Hubble's Ultra Deep Field Image Poster
This view of nearly 10,000 galaxies is called the Hubble Ultra Deep Field. The snapshot includes galaxies of various ages, sizes, shapes, and colours. The smallest, reddest galaxies may be among the most distant known, existing when the universe was just about 800 million years old. The nearest galaxies - the larger, brighter, well-defined spirals and ellipticals - thrived about 1 billion years ago, when the cosmos was 13 billion years old. The image required 800 exposures taken over the course of 400 Hubble orbits around Earth. The total amount of exposure time was 11.3 days, taken between Sept. 24, 2003 and Jan. 16, 2004. The quality of the print exceeded expectations. The paper was far from matte or economy. It was lustrous and the paper was fully backed. At this size I expected it to fold and wrinkle and generally be hard to work with, but it was wonderful. The focus was sharp and the blacks were indeed black. A great deal at a great price. I spent a couple of weeks on line looking for what I wanted and this is where I happily ended my search. Pretty much covered it above. What I didn't expect was the clarity of the galaxies at such extreme distances to print so clearly. And the intensity of not only the black but also the colors in those bitty galaxies, amazing!

maybe you can add up on personalised option, laminated or a frame maybe . great job. but you can add an option if we wanted to have it laminated or frame as add up option

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
