Alaska is known for its many glaciers. This is the Hubbard Glacier, the longest tidewater glacier in that state. This river of ice runs for 76 miles from its source in Mt. Logan and at the end, is 400 years old! The image here shows the blue colour of the compacted ice. The image can be moved to show different detail.
